We're establishing a scholarship to honor the legacy of Ms Gwen Johnson who was dedicated to creating positive change and providing children with opportunities for success.

Africa, has the youngest population on a continent abundant with raw materials. The Gwen Johnson scholarship mission is to equip students with the tools and mindset to become conscientious leaders of their own lives and communities.

We achieve this by:

•  Offering scholarships to prevent and address behavioral issues among youth, thereby reducing school dropout rates caused by unaffordable fees.
• Implementing the SFK Social Emotional & Learning program across all schools.
• Cultivating a respect for technology usage that aligns with principles of integrity, fostering global consciousness and promoting good health.
• Initiating efforts to improve and restore inadequate school infrastructures.
• Addressing substance abuse among teenagers through proactive measures.
• Ensuring access to clean water and sanitation facilities.
• Establishing Disability Inclusion programs to foster inclusivity and diversity.
• Creating work opportunities and promoting economic growth.
• Providing courses that lead to SFK Certification & Employment, along with professional development opportunities for teachers.

The project entails the installation of clean water supply systems and the renovation of classrooms in the institutions, thereby ensuring safe access to water for students and staff. This initiative aims to create safer and more comfortable learning conditions while promoting the health and well-being of members of the school community.

The school scholarship project for children living in slums aims to provide educational opportunities for these underprivileged children. It will involve providing scholarships to cover tuition fees, school supplies, and possibly uniforms. Additionally, the project will provide additional support in the form of mentoring, counseling, and social assistance, along with the implementation of the SEL program to help these children integrate into the education system and succeed academically. The objective is to give these children the chance to have a better future through education, providing them with the necessary tools to leave the streets and thrive in society. 

Thanks to the generous scholarships awarded to schools, we were able to enable 150 children to participate in the social and emotional learning program "Winning in the Game of Life." This initiative had a profound impact on these young people, allowing them to develop essential skills for their emotional well-being and future success. Now, our goal is to expand this program to all schools. We firmly believe that every child deserves access to this type of education, which enables them to navigate confidently in today's complex world.
